Projects:

Wild Life Illustration or Painting: We will be demonstrating two possible techniques to produce a wildlife drawing.  We have reference material available.  We will also be able to get our work on this project displayed at Ohio Wild Life Office and other places.

1.  Mural for Geneva Hills.  We have also been asked to produce a mural on the ceiling of the craft house at Geneva Hills.

2. Art Cart - We will be working with the Industrial Design Department to design and build an Art Cart to house all our art supplies when we travel.

We recommend that all members purchase a portable easel.

Landscape/Cityscape: Work with Professor Tardino on a landscape or cityscape.

Art Book:  We are planning on producing a printed book of our work.

Comic: We are planning on producing an anthology comic of short stories.  We will have a table at the 2004 Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo here in Columbus where our comic will be sold. Advised by Bob Corby

Regular meeting.  We're getting started again after the summer break.  We'll be making plans for projects so bring your ideas. 

Projects:

Wild Life Illustration or Painting: We will be demo-ing two possible techniques to produce a wildlife drawing.  We have reference material available.  We will also be able to get our work on this project displayed at Ohio Wild Life  Office and other places.

1.   Booklet Design: We will be designing a flyer/booklet about our post to give out at functions such as the scout show.  

2.  Mural for Geneva Hills.  We have also been asked to produce a mural on the ceiling of the craft house at Geneva Hills.

Parent Meeting: We will have a pot luck parent meeting to elect the adult advisors for the year and plan the next three months of post activities.  Parents, this is a great way to know what your child is doing in Art Explorers and be involved in their passion.  We are looking for parents to volunteer and bring creative ideas to the post.  Remember to bring your calendar or planner.  (You don't have to be an official advisor to attend.  We welcome all parents to help out in any area that they feel comfortable with.)

This will be a pot luck event, so we will ask you to bring a place setting for your family as well as a appetizer, covered dish, or desert (just one please).  CCAD and the post will provide soft drinks.

Mystic Cat Art Show has been cancelled.  We will be doing the Riverfest show at Grigg's Dam on August 13 instead.  Regular session.
